For the 4th year, Scherer Construction has teamed with Crosier Roofing to support Rebuilding Together of North Central Florida (RTNCF) by providing a new roof for a local veteran. April marks the month for the National Rebuilding Together launch where the organization brings together volunteers and communities to provide healthy and safe homes for low-income homeowner’s across America. Each year, volunteers from each company combine their efforts and lend their teams to a weekend of hard work for a veteran in Gainesville.

Scherer Construction of North Florida announced that they have hired Samantha Livingston as Assistant Project Manager and Office Manager in their Jacksonville office. Most recently, Sam was an Inside Sales Manager with Cemex. She brings to Scherer Construction a decade of construction related experience, including substantial time in estimating and project administration. Sam has a Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University. The hire brings additional capacity to Scherer’s already qualified team.
Scherer announced today the completion of the interior build out for Pro Martial Arts of Gainesville, FL in the Tower Square Shopping Center located at 5827 SW 75th Street. The project involved the interior renovation of nearly 3,200 sf of space that was formerly a Sue’s Hallmark store.
